30 November 2022, Janakpurdham. NCP UML has started protesting against the decision of resuming vote counts in Syangja district of Nepal. Adopting a new style of protest, the UML has demanded re-election by sleeping on the streets.

The “Matadhikar Suraksha Sanyukta Sangharsha Samiti” has accused of rigged voting at booths in ward 3, 4 and 5 of Chapakot Municipality in Syangja and hence demanded a re-election in the district.

Election Commission has however, denied of any mishaps and has decided to continue with the counting process.
