Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, professionally known as Vijay, works as an actor, dancer, playback singer and philanthropist in the Tamil film industry.From the age of 10, he started acting in the film. He got a major role in the 1992 movie Nalaya Therapy.

Career
In the year 1984, Vijay started his film career as a child artist from the film ‘Vetri’, which was directed by his father. He wanted to become an actor from the very beginning and to fulfil his dream he left his middle school.
And then as the lead actor in the year 1992, He made his debut with the Tamil film Naalaya Theerpu. And then he never looked back in his career and went on to give superhit films one after the other.
