A fire broke out in a building in Dhaka, Bangladesh, resulting in the deaths of 45 people.
On Thursday, the fire erupted in a 6-story building, causing significant property damage. The fire, ignited by a gas leak in the biryani restaurant within the building, quickly spread throughout the structure. Additionally, 22 others sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College.
Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control after 2 hours, utilizing 13 fire engines. The Bangladesh government has also formed a five-member inquiry committee to investigate the incident.
