Imran Khan’s party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court against the Leader of the PML-N, Nawaz Sharif, and his daughter Maryam Nawaz challenging their victory.
On Saturday, PTI registered the case in the Lahore High Court, contesting the victory of the PML-N leaders. They have accused them of manipulating the results to declare Maryam as the winner.
PTI claims that the Election Commission did not follow the proper procedures during the vote counting. Candidates supported by PTI, who lost in the elections, allege that the Election Commission declared Nawaz and Maryam as winners based on forged results.
