The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has elected Balakishor Prasad Yadav as the President of the Madhes Pradesh Committee.

Previously, under the chairmanship of Ram Babu Yadav, the committee was dissolved, and the responsibility to select a new president was given to Upendra Yadav, the central president of JSP.

He chose Balakishor Yadav as the new president. According to the party’s new constitution, the Pradesh Committee consists of 51 members.

Among them, there is a provision for 17 executive members. The executive committee, including the president, was formed on Monday, as informed by Renu Yadav, the current treasurer of JSP Madhes Pradesh Committee.

She revealed that discussions about the executive committee’s meeting have begun, and discussions are ongoing regarding the officials and other members of the Pradesh Committee.

President Balakishor Yadav had been officially employed in the health sector. After working for 25 years, he recently resigned to take on the role of the Pradesh Committee President.

Before this, he served as the president of the Madhesi Health Workers’ Forum Nepal. He resigned from that position as well.
