According to the Examination Control Office, the exam will be conducted from 8:00 am to 11:00 am each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today marks the first day of the exam and it begins with English subject. Examination Controller Nandlal Paudel reported that a total of 250,772 female students and 253,627 male students from 10,806 schools are participating in the examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, there are 504,414 examinees, including 15 from sexual and gender minorities. Among these minorities, there are four students from Rupandehi, two each from Parsa and Saptari, and one each from Surkhet, Banke, Dang, Chitwan, Gorkha, Khotang, and Ilam Surkhet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The examination is being held across 2,064 centers, with Manang and Mustang having one center each and Kathmandu hosting the most centers at 127.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, 23 examinees from Everest International School in Tokyo, Japan, including 15 males and 8 females, are participating in this year&#8217;s SEE examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, there is a new requirement where students must score 35 percent in theoretical and 40 percent in practical exams, compared to the previous requirement of 35 percent in both. Those who do not meet this criteria will not be eligible for admission to class 11 and will have the opportunity to take supplementary exams.
